Francine is the owner and clinic director
of South City Physiotherapy. Graduating from the University of Toronto in 1984, Francine worked in both
hospital and clinic settings until opening South City Physiotherapy in 1990. Starting as a one-person
operation, Francine has built South City into a multi-disciplinary, community physiotherapy and rehabilitation
centre.
With a keen interest in orthopaedics, Francine has completed many post-graduate courses including
the Rocabado Series for treatment of TMJ conditions, the McKenzie Series for treatment of discogenic conditions, and
other manual therapy and muscle energy courses. She completed her acupuncture certification from the Acupuncture Foundation
of Canada Institute in 2005 and has recently successfully completed Part 1 if the Gunn IMS certification.
As well as building a team of self-motivated, highly-skilled physiotherapists, Francine’s goal is to educate patients
and the community at large about the benefits of physiotherapy for optimal health. Francine was recognized for her commitment
to the well-being of individuals and the community in 2004, when she won the Guelph YMCA-YWCA Women of Distinction Award in
the Health and Wellness category. She is further involved in the community as an active member of the Board of Directors of
the Trillium Rotary Club of Guelph.
Francine regularly performs speaking and public education engagements in the community for many groups.

After graduating from McMaster University in 1991with a B.Sc. in Physical Therapy, Heidi worked for several years in a hospital setting until joining South City in 1997.
Heidi’s professional interests and post-graduate training in orthopaedics and manual therapy led her to osteopathy, and in 2005 she completed her training to earn a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice from the Canadian College of Osteopathy.

Since completing her B.Sc. in Physiotherapy at Queen’s University in 1998, Michelle has enhanced her qualifications by earning a certificate from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. At the same time she has obtained her diploma of Intermediate Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy.
On staff at South City since 1999, Michelle is committed to educating her patients about safe and effective exercise.

Jeanette’s main area of interest as a physical therapist is orthopaedics. Since graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a B.Sc. in Biology (1997) and a B.Sc. in Physical Therapy (2000), Jeanette has developed her orthopaedic skills by completing several post-graduate courses and has planned further study in manual therapy.
Jeanette’s clinical experience has been in Canada and Australia. She joined South City Physiotherapy in 2002. |

Part of the South City team since her graduation in 1997, Nicole earned her physiotherapy degree from McMaster University. With an interest in orthopaedic conditions and women’s health, she has completed a number of post-graduate courses.
Nicole received her certificate in intermediate manual and manipulative physiotherapy in 2004.
Nicole is one of South City’s specialists in female urinary incontinence, and helped to launch South City’s treatment program in 2001. |

Cathy is qualified as both a kinesiologist (1991) and a physiotherapist (1996). Joining South City after graduating from the physiotherapy program at McMaster University, Cathy has a keen interest in preventing and treating sports injuries. She served on the medical committees for the Guelph Summer and Winter Games in 2002.
Cathy has completed her certification in intermediate manual therapy and is working toward a certificate in acupuncture.
Cathy also treats females with urinary incontinence conditions. |

Nicole Oudejans joined the staff of South City in 2001, after completing her degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto in 1989 and several years of experience in both hospital and private clinic settings.
With a particular interest in low back conditions, Nicole has completed a number of post-graduate courses including muscle energy techniques, muscle imbalances, manual therapy, and is working on her manual therapy certification. |

Craig graduated from Queen’s University
with a Masters degree in Physiotherapy in 2006. He also went to Wilfrid Laurier University, where he obtained
a Bachelors degree in Kinesiolgy in 2003. Since his graduation from Queen’s, Craig has practiced at a private
physiotherapy clinic in Toronto and as the on-site physiotherapist at the GM car plant in Oshawa. Craig has a
keen interest in orthopaedics and has taken various post-graduate courses to help enhance his knowledge within
this field.
In 2007, Craig obtained his certification in acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of
Canada Institute. Craig plans on taking more post-graduate courses to obtain his certification in advanced
manual and manipulative therapy. |

Veronique graduated from Universite Laval with a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Physiotherapy in 1999. Veronique practiced in Laval, Quebec for a year before moving to Ontario in 2000. She worked in Fergus for 4 years and joined South City Physiotherapy in 2005.
Since graduating, she has completed her levels 1 through 5 of manual therapy and has her certificate from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. She completed her certificate of intermediate manual and manipulative physiotherapy in 2003 and her diploma of advanced manual and manipulative physiotherapy in 2005. |

Robin is one of South City’s kinesiologists, graduating from the University of Guelph in 2000, and instructs patients in their rehabilitative exercise routines. A member of the Ontario Kinesiology Association, she works privately as a personal trainer as well.
In addition, Robin is currently enrolled at the Canadian College of Osteopathy with a goal of completing her training in 2009. |

One of the kinesiologists on staff at South City Physiotherapy, Wendy graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2000. Before joining South City in 2003 Wendy gained clinical experience in both private clinic and hospital setting.
Her post-graduate training has included work on movement impairment syndromes. At South City Wendy assists patients with rehabilitative exercises and various therapies. |

Rachael is South City’s physiotherapy assistant, earning a diploma in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant from Conestoga College in 2001. Rachael also performs some administrative duties.
