Francine is the owner and clinic director
of South City Physiotherapy. Graduating from the University of Toronto in 1984, Francine worked in both
hospital and clinic settings until opening South City Physiotherapy in 1990. Starting as a one-person
operation, Francine has built South City into a multi-disciplinary, community physiotherapy and rehabilitation
centre.
With a keen interest in orthopaedics, Francine has completed many post-graduate courses including
the Rocabado Series for treatment of TMJ conditions, the McKenzie Series for treatment of discogenic conditions, and
other manual therapy and muscle energy courses. She completed her acupuncture certification from the Acupuncture Foundation
of Canada Institute in 2005 and has recently successfully completed Parts 1 and 2 of the Gunn IMS certification.
As well as building a team of self-motivated, highly-skilled physiotherapists, Francine’s goal is to educate patients
and the community at large about the benefits of physiotherapy for optimal health. Francine was recognized for her commitment
to the well-being of individuals and the community in 2004, when she won the Guelph YMCA-YWCA Women of Distinction Award in
the Health and Wellness category. She is further involved in the community as an active member of the Board of Directors of
the Trillium Rotary Club of Guelph.
Francine regularly performs speaking and public education engagements in the community for many groups.

After graduating from McMaster University in 1991with a B.Sc. in Physical
Therapy, Heidi worked for several years in a hospital setting until joining South City in 1997.
Heidi’s professional interests and post-graduate training in orthopaedics and manual therapy led her to
osteopathy, and in 2005 she completed her training to earn a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice from the Canadian College of
Osteopathy.

Since completing her B.Sc. in Physiotherapy at Queen’s University in
1998, Michelle has enhanced her qualifications by earning a certificate from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. At the same time
she has obtained her diploma of Intermediate Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy.
On staff at South City since 1999, Michelle is committed to educating her patients about safe and effective exercise.

Part of the South City team since her graduation in 1997, Nicole
earned her physiotherapy degree from McMaster University. With an interest in orthopaedic conditions and women’s health, she
has completed a number of post-graduate courses.
Nicole received her certificate in intermediate manual and manipulative physiotherapy in 2004.
Nicole is one of South City’s specialists in female urinary incontinence, and helped to launch
South City’s treatment program in 2001.

Nicole Oudejans joined the staff of South City in 2001, after completing
her degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto in 1989 and several years of experience in both hospital and private clinic
settings.
With a particular interest in low back conditions, Nicole has completed a number of post-graduate courses including
muscle energy techniques, muscle imbalances, manual therapy, and is working on her manual therapy certification.

Craig graduated from Queen’s University
with a Masters degree in Physiotherapy in 2006. He also went to Wilfrid Laurier University, where he obtained
a Bachelors degree in Kinesiolgy in 2003. Since his graduation from Queen’s, Craig has practiced at a private
physiotherapy clinic in Toronto and as the on-site physiotherapist at the GM car plant in Oshawa. Craig has a
keen interest in orthopaedics and has taken various post-graduate courses to help enhance his knowledge within
this field.
In 2007, Craig obtained his certification in acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of
Canada Institute. Craig plans on taking more post-graduate courses to obtain his certification in advanced
manual and manipulative therapy.

Veronique graduated from Universite Laval with a Bachelor of Health
Sciences degree in Physiotherapy in 1999. Veronique practiced in Laval, Quebec for a year before moving to Ontario in 2000. She worked
in Fergus for 4 years and joined South City Physiotherapy in 2005.
Since graduating, she has completed her levels 1 through 5 of manual therapy and has her certificate from the
Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. She completed her certificate of intermediate manual and manipulative physiotherapy in 2003 and her
diploma of advanced manual and manipulative physiotherapy in 2005.

Monique brings a Ph.D. in medical sciences, with a specialty in bone
strength and osteoporosis, and an M.Sc. in physiotherapy to her work at South City. Her clinical interests are in orthopaedics and manual therapy.
Additionally, Monique has also successfully completed both her Intermediate and Advanced Manual Therapy exams.

Teresa graduated from The University of Toronto in 1999 with a Bachelor
of Science in Physiotherapy. She also holds a bachelor of Kinesiology from McMaster University. Prior to joining South City in 2008 Teresa
worked in Guelph in private practice. Teresa has a keen interest in orthopedic and sports injuries. She attended the 2004 Athens Olympics
as a physiotherapist for the Canadian Wrestling Team.
Teresa holds a Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy and a Certificate in Intermediate Manual Therapy.
She is currently working towards her Diploma of Advanced Manual Therapy.

Judy graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2006 with an Honours degree in Health Sciences, specializing in rural health issues. She went on to complete her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2008.
Judy has an interest in orthopaedic physiotherapy and plans to enhance her skills by taking more post-graduate courses. She is particularly interested in pursuing her certification in manual and manipulative physiotherapy and her acupuncture accreditation.

Kathleen O’Reilly is the newest member of South City’s physiotherapy team. Kathleen completed her MSc in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2009.
Prior to earning her physiotherapy degree, Kathleen attended the University of Western Ontario, where she played varsity hockey while earning a BHSc in Medical Biophysics.
Kathleen has a keen interest in orthopaedics and plans to pursue post-graduate courses in manual and manipulative therapy.

Halyna Vreken completed her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University in 2007, and immediately started her training in Massage Therapy at Everest College. She completed the requirements for registration in massage in the summer of 2009.
Halyna plans to further her education and enroll in an Osteopathy program in the years to come.

Alesha is an occupational/physiotherapy assistant here at South City and a recent graduate from Conestoga College. After graduating from her program, Alesha spent a year working at nursing homes, but have since discovered that she prefers South City’s clinic environment.
Originally, from the small town of Drayton, Alesha moved to Kitchener to further her education, and has now created a home there with her new husband Brad. Alesha has never been known to turn down a Starbucks run!

Robin is one of South City’s kinesiologists, graduating from the
University of Guelph in 2000, and instructs patients in their rehabilitative exercise routines. A member of the Ontario Kinesiology
Association, she works privately as a personal trainer as well.
Robin has also completed the Osteopathic Manual Practitioner program with the Canadian College of Osteopathy. |

One of the kinesiologists on staff at South City Physiotherapy,
Wendy graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2000. Before joining South City in 2003 Wendy gained clinical experience in both
private clinic and hospital setting.
Her post-graduate training has included work on movement impairment syndromes. At South City Wendy assists
patients with rehabilitative exercises and various therapies.
Wendy also teaches our Osteoporosis Exercise Classes using MelioGuide methods.

Shelley joined the clinic the first year it opened, and has been the heart of South City ever since. Shelley is South City’s receptionist and administrative assistant.

Tabitha is the newest member of South City’s administrative staff. She is currently completing the final year of her Health Office Administration program at Conestoga College. This program has taught Tabitha a great deal about herself and how much she can accomplish when she sets her mind to it.
Tabitha and her husband have a young son, and love to spend time outdoors with him.
